Professional West Highland Terrier Westie Dog Clippers Set by Masterclip Pet Grooming Clipper Trimmer Supplies

The West Highland Terrier, commonly known as the Westie is a Scottish breed of dog with a distinctive white coat. Legend suggests that it was bred from the white offspring of Cairn and Scottish Terriers, in order to create a hunting terrier that would not be mistaken for a fox. Originally registered as Roseneath Terriers, their name was changed to the West Highland White in 1909. Over the years, they have become increasingly popular due to their talents as both hunting dogs and companions. The West Highland Terrier clipper Set offers the complete solution to clipping your dog at home. This set combines the popular Masterclip Pedigree Pro dog clipper along with 3 sets of high quality German steel clipper blades. The number 10F blade cuts to 1.6mm and is ideal for short cut trimming around the face, feet and back end for sanitation purposes. Two longer cut blades for the body are also included, a 5F and a 5 skip tooth blade that will leave approximately 6mm of hair on your dog. There are two types of clipping blades available in most of the cutting depths, the F blade and the Skip Tooth. An F blade has a full row of teeth and gives a sharp finished cut that works well after using a skip tooth blade. The teeth on a skip tooth blade are spread further apart which allows a thick or wiry coat into the cutting head of the clipper.
