If you are travelling by air, you can use these bolts and wing nuts to securely screw the two halves together. The central join also features additional holes which can be used to provide even more security, for example by looping cable ties through them. (These measures are required by some airlines.) The metal lattice door can be attached so that it opens to the right or left, according to your preference. The sliding lock allows you to easily open and close the front door, and the doorframe features another 4 holes for cable ties, to keep the cage securely closed when necessary.
