Royal Canin VCN – Pediatric Starter Medium Dog
Royal Canin Vet Care Nutrition Pediatric Starter Medium Dog is a complete food for puppies of medium breeds (10-25 kg) from weaning to the age of 2 months and for pregnant and lactating bitches.

The puppy undergoes many changes during weaning, both physical and environmental. Influences such as worm infections, diarrhoea, vaccinations etc. can lead to mental and physical stress. Stress reduces immunity, and increases the speed of food through the intestine, which may cause diarrhoea. A number of these stress factors can be limited through good hygiene and worming treatments.

The food can be ground up and/or soaked in water or milk. From the age of 4 weeks, many puppies can eat dry food. It is very important for puppies to get the required daily amount of food in their own food bowl, to teach them both how to eat properly and to avoid unwanted behaviour later (such as eating too fast or food envy).

Puppies (10 to 25 kg adult weight) from weaning to the age of 2 months.
Bitches of medium breeds (10 to 25 kg), during pregnancy, from the 6th week, and during lactation (breastfeeding).
