The product can also come in handy if you are visiting friends, relatives or staying in a hotel and are worried about a marking accident. It is also very useful if you have an elderly dog who has become slightly incontinent.
For use with a disposable pad, simply stick an incontinence pad (sold for people) – supermarket brands work really well – to the widest part on the fleece side of the product with the elasticated sides creating a sling type effect – this will help hold the pad in and keep everything contained when your dog is wearing it. You can use Tena pads or absorbent sanitary towels for the smaller size products – depending on the requirement.
Wrap it under your dog so it covers the relevant section, then pull the straps up, adjust it so it fits your dog comfortably then squeeze the between the band and the dog’s skin to ensure it’s not too tight.
Make sure you regularly check the pad/ liner and change it if necessary.
This product is machine washable at 30C – tumble dry low – no fabric softener.
