Instructions:
Regular Nail trimming helps maintain healthy nails while

Use any of these nail clipper when your pet is relaxed,
Hold one paw gently and securely, and insert the nail
between the clipper blades. Cut off only a small part of
the nail. This will help to prevent cutting into the
“quick of the nail”. The “Quick” contains the nerve
endings and blood vessels that run through the center of
the nail. The “Quick” can be seen in light nails but is hard
to be seen in dark nails.
Continue to cut all nails (including the dewclaw) in this manner.
If the nails are very long, cut a small amount off and repeat weekly,
until you reach the desired length.
